(May 26th, 2006 - Paris, IL) -- Michael Bradley Motorsports has determined the schedule for the upcoming weekend of racing. The team has decided to take Friday evening off and resume racing on Saturday once again at Kamp Motor Speedway. This will be a UMP sanctioned non-special event. "We would like another chance to
tune on the car and see how it will react in the same situation as last weekend. The best way for us to fine tune our baseline is to return to Kamp's and pick up where we left off last weekend. Once we get that baseline ironed out and things slow down around home, we will begin to get out and race a little more. I would like to thank all of my sponsors and fans for their continued support, and we are hoping to get in the winner's circle very soon for all of them."
Among the sponsors that help propel the Mastersbilt Gaerte GTO are Budda Race Cars, White Sheet Metal, M and B Service, Walters Web Design, Hooosier By Smash, Bell Helmets, Hinchman Race Wear, T Graphics, Jamey Mitchell Photography, Terry Ellston Insurance, Advanced Racing Suspensions, and Sunoco Race Fuels.
On Sunday night, Modified Fans everywhere are in for a treat. Michael will once again try for the title at the David Richardson Memorial at VCS in Danville IL. Michael has tried many times to win this one with many close
calls, but has never landed in victory lane. However, he is no stranger to victory lane at VCS. Many feature events have been won by the familiar 7m at Danville. Michael will be piloting the 3f backup car of Rob Fuqua. "Rob called me one day and was asking about what I thought about some changes he was going to make. Then he asked me to drive his backup car at the Richardson Memorial. I thought about it, and decided to say yes. He has been struggling with this car, so if anything, I can help him out with getting it more consistent to drive." Michael went on to say, "This will also be fun to go out and try this thing with not a whole lot of
pressure. I would like to thank Rob for this opportunity, and hopefully it turns out well for one of us. After the racing is all out of the way, I am looking forward to spending some time at home with my wife Hillary and son
Luke on Monday."
Michael Bradley Motorsports would like to take this time to thank all of its sponsors and fans everywhere for their continued support. Those include; Budda Bert Transmissions, Advanced Racing Suspensions, MasterSbilt Race Cars, M&B Service, White Sheetmetal, Heil Heating and Cooling Products, Walters Web Design, Jamey Mitchell Photography, BELL, Sunoco Race Fuels, Hoosier by Smash, and Gearte Engines.
